The Groundbreaking

took place just days after Memorial Day and as America prepares to commemorate both the 25th anniversary of September 11 and America 250, this project serves as a powerful reminder that freedom is never free and that communities across North Carolina continue to stand behind the men and women who sacrificed in service to our nation.

This home marks

the second partnership between Helping a Hero and Robuck Homes and serves as a signature initiative as Robuck Homes begins celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026. Robuck Homes has spent a century building communities across North Carolina, and this project reflects the company’s enduring commitment to service, gratitude, and giving back.

Community members, veterans, patriots, trade partners, and families are encouraged to attend this special groundbreaking ceremony to honor America’s wounded heroes and learn how they can help nominate a deserving veteran for this life-changing home.
