It’s been a significant year for Robuck Homes. Not only did we enter into our second century in business, but we’re proud of our recent achievements from the Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association Parade of Homes, held April 25-26 and May 2-3. This year, Robuck was named Wilmington Parade of Homes winners for an award-winning design and for construction excellence.
Robuck Homes earned a bronze award for our new Remington plan in Downtown Wilmington Collective. At the same time, our own John Kiziuk was recognized as Construction Manager of the Year, highlighting the leadership and commitment that helped drive Robuck’s success in 2025.
Remington Earns Bronze
The Parade of Homes is an opportunity for builders across the region to showcase innovative design, quality construction, and exceptional homebuyer experiences. This year’s recognition for the Remington plan marks an exciting milestone for Robuck Homes in Downtown Wilmington.
Located in the heart of the Downtown Wilmington Collective, the Remington plan brings together thoughtful architecture, modern finishes, and an urban lifestyle that resonated with Parade judges and visitors alike. The award reflects the collaboration between our design, construction, purchasing, and trade partners who worked together to bring the vision to life.
The Remington is currently under contract, yet Downtown Wilmington Collective continues to offer opportunities to enjoy the energy and convenience of downtown living through a selection of townhomes currently available in the community.
Celebrating Construction Manager of the Year
In addition to the Remington recognition, Robuck Homes is proud to celebrate John Kiziuk, who was named Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association Construction Manager of the Year.
John’s award recognizes more than a successful year. It also reflects the leadership, accountability, and commitment to excellence he brings to every project. As Construction Manager for the WyndWater community, John helped lead a remarkable turnaround in performance during 2025.

Some of the results included:
- Avid homeowner satisfaction scores increasing from 72.4% to 94%, placing the community among the top-performing builders nationally.
- Construction variance reduced from 2.16% to 0.55%.
- 22 homes successfully closed throughout the year.
While these numbers tell an important story, we also understand that behind every score and milestone is a commitment to communication, quality craftsmanship, and a team-first approach that ensures homeowners receive the experience they deserve.
Built on a legacy of excellence
We are grateful to be Wilmington Parade of Homes winners. We believe awards are meaningful because they reflect homeowners’ experiences and the hard work of the people behind the scenes. Whether it’s earning recognition for a new home design or celebrating a team member’s professional achievement, these moments reinforce what has guided Robuck Homes for more than 100 years. We are proud to still hold true to our commitment to quality, integrity, and continuous improvement.
We’re grateful to the Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association, the Parade of Homes judges, and our homeowners for their continued support.
Most importantly, we’re proud of the people who make these achievements possible every day.
